One of the nicest botanic garden, open in 1808, near the lagoa and the Corcovado, really large garden in 140 hectare, with 900 varieties of palm trees. Impressive 750 meters line with 134 palms. Only about 40% of the park is cultivated, the reminder being Atlantic Forest rising up the slopes of Corcovado
